Michelle & Lance

Don't worry everyone I did indeed have two weddings two weekends in a row. For Michelle and Lance's wedding Erin and I decided to go to Eau Claire the Friday before the wedding to go out with my sister. Erin and I met in Baldwin and drove to Eau Claire together. We met at Sissy's apartment with Ciara, Jill, Sissy, Asia, Amber J, Amber T, Julia, Alysha and Becker. We got a cab down to water and met up with Allison, James, Dylan, Joey, Gene and I'm sure more best friends. I started with beer and then switched to Long Islands. It was a black out express night. I even puked the next morning and that NEVER happens. But all in all it was a good night. Erin let me sleep in till about noon and then we met Sam, Rian, and Layla at the mall and then TJ Maxx. After that we were running behind so we didn't stop at Amber's house. We headed straight to Baldwin to check into our hotel and get ready. We got ready and were early for the reception so we hit up a bar in town. After a drink there we were ready for the reception. We ran into Keith, Connie, Megan and Billy, and then met some of Lance's cousins and other relatives. It was a fun night. The food was good (duh) and the beer was even better (free). Michelle looked great! We danced the night away and then took off to the bar we had stopped at prior that day. It was hoppin with a band. We might have got into a little "scuffle" so we left the bar and got some food and came back to the hotel. We all crashed right away and woke up the next day and got continental breakfast. Then our adventure continues. We went to Woodbury and met up with my long lost BFF Angie. We did some shopping and went out to eat. It was nice catching up with her. Then I had a long drive back to Horace. It seemed like it took FOREVER. But I made it back in one piece. I have had enough traveling for a while.

Our bride Michelle!

Mike & Andrea

I am a little behind on my blogs. Sorry everyone! It's going on 3 weekends ago now I went to my friend's wedding. Mike and Andrea got married in Minot. I met my friend Steph there and we got ready and went to the wedding together. Her boyfriend, Chris, was in the wedding so I was her date! The wedding was about an hour long and it was a nice Catholic wedding. After the wedding we went to the mall because we had some down time before the dinner/reception started. After the mall we went back to the hotel room and freshened up. The wedding party had just arrived as well. The reception was very nice and pretty. The dinner was awesome (obviously my favorite part of any wedding). They had a slide show which was very cute. They had a free keg of beer (which is my other favorite part of any wedding). There were quite a few people there most of them I didn't know. I knew Steph, Chris, Cory, and Mike of course. I had met Andrea several times prior to this as well. The dance was fun they had a lot of good songs. I think "Thriller" was my favorite of the night. We were all up early that day so we went back to the room around midnight. I bunked with Steph and Chris and got up early the next morning so I could come back to Horace and get some things done around the house. There will be pictures up soon from the wedding!

Erin's Bash

Last weekend was Erin and Chad's house warming party in Northwood, Iowa. I took off work last Friday at 11 so I could get there at a decent hour. The drive was long but it went pretty fast it took about 5 1/2 hours and I was by myself so I had to entertain myself, my singing skills are great so that helped. I got there around 4:30 and right away we had lots of stuff to get done. Pat and Beatle were already there when I arrived. We went to the grocery store first to get some supplies for dried beef roll ups and popcicle sticks for carmel apples. Well Erin didn't grab enough money so we sat at the check out and waited for Chad to bring us some more money - the total was like 12 or something. So that was fun. Kyle and Matt showed up next and they tried making carmel popcorn while I did roll ups. Sam and Michelle were the next to arrive and by then we were done preparing and were just drinking outside. Jenny and James showed up a little later. It was a fun night to just talk and B.S. with everyone since we all don't get together that much. Saturday morning came fast though and we had a lot to do. Keith showed up in the afternoon as well which was awesome. We had people cooking, cleaning, decorating, and etc all morning till about 2, when the party was supposed to start. Erin didn't inform anyone that around 50 people were coming and that we got a party bus. They also got a keg. The day/night was fun we drank, ate, played yard games, and drank some more until the party bus got there at 9. Then we headed to the bar in town had a couple drinks and then we went to the casino. I won $25 playing blackjack and Michelle won about $100 on the penny machine -not sure how anyone else did. Sam, Keith, and I almost got kicked out of the casino - I guess you can't take photos in there, OOPS! Erin and Kylie got Burger King which was awesome. We ended up coming back to Erin's house around 1 which was late enough for me. Sam and I went to bed right away and then Sunday morning came. It wasn't bad driving to the cities because Sam and Michelle were with me (well in separate cars but right next to me). But from the cities back to Fargo was rough. I thought I was never going to get home. But when I did I rented some movies and Nathan and I got to spend some time together, which was nice because it's rare with our schedules. This coming weekend I will make my way to Minot for a wedding! Pictures will be posted soon!

NEW HAIR!!!

Ok so most of you know that I don't care what I look like and don't care what I do with my hair. I always say that I want long hair because all the hot celebrities have long hair like Kim and Kloe, my girls, but there's a difference between  us, I don't have someone to do my hair every day so I usually just throw it up in a  pony tail or a messy bun ... sometimes brushed, sometimes not brushed, sometimes washed, sometimes no wash. I work in an office where I onlyl see my co-workers and then also work in a deli where I wear a hair net. BUT I think I want to cut my hair short, just like shoulder length. And also I haven't colored my hair in a LONG time so half my head is new growth and half is the colored part. So I think i want to color it too. My friend Kristin said that I can't just do one color so I'm thinking some highlights or low lights - just a couple though. Here are two pics that I like so far:

I'm not trying to look like Ashlee Simpson, but I do like these two styles ... I think this might be easy enough to just blow dry in the morning and will look good ... I'll post pics if I actually go though with this ... Hopefully next week!!!

This is the new cut! ... This was before a wedding so it was actually done up good!
Here is another model pose ... LOL ... but ya you can tell it's shorter.

Mid October

So last weekend was my first weekend workin at the Deli. I worked Fri night 4-9. The time just flies. It doens't even seem like I am there for like an hour. After I got done with work I met Jen and Brady out at Bucks. They were playing pool and getting their drink on. I only stayed till about midnight then I hit the road, I hit up WalMart on my way home to pick up some things I needed. I got home and went to bed. Nathan got home around 4 AM from work and slept for a couple hours then got up at the crack of dawn to go pheasant hunting. I didn't set my alarm cause I didn't have to work till 12. Well I ended up sleeping in till 10 AM. That never happens! I went to work from 12-6 (first time working a day shift) I met 2 people that I have never worked with before. They were nice. Once I was done with work I went to Lisbon to hang out with the Bratlies. Bob, Robin, Nathan, and I met Kyle and Crystal out at the Steak Out for supper. It was nice to see all of them again. We had some really nice dinner conversations. Once we got home we were all ready for bed, I fell asleep on the couch and woke up at 8:30 the next morning and took off back to Horace - Nathan had already left for hunting. Once I got to Horce I started baking some Smore recipe that I wanted to bring to Erin's party but Nathan already ate most of them! ... Once I made a batch of them I got ready for work. I worked 12:30 - 9. It was a slow day. We had everything done by 8 but had to stay till 9. Longest hour of my life. But once I got home Nathan had some pheasant frying up. It was great. OH...and we have a new roommate. Nathan's friend John moved in with us so last night was the first night we all hung out together. I stayed up till about 11 so I am feeling tired today! Tonight I have to go to Department Training at the Hornbacher's close to my work from 5:30 - 7. I'll definately be ready for bed by 8 tonight!

fRiEnDs ???

So I usually am the type to like everyone as long as they are "good" people. I hate fake people though. So if I find out you're fake I'm going to hold a grudge and probably won't be a real good friend. An actual friend recently told me that they used to not like "fake" people but they said they got over it and said it wasn't worth them getting pissed off every time those "fake" people were around because they are never going to change. What a good point. So from here on out I'm going to try and take that advice and pretend I don't hate them and make the best of it. I'm so glad I don't have to "run" into these people that often!

Text Messages...

Maybe I just have too much time on my hands -- but if I get a text message I reply back - maybe not right away if I'm busy but I usually ALWAYS text back ... and usually I'm the first to text someone anyways, especially if I haven't talked to someone in a while I usually am the first to text them to see what's up. Without having facebook (because it's filled with drama and a bunch of fake people who put on an act to think they're better and their lives are super fun and interesting - but they're not which is annoying (not saying all are like that but most) ) it's hard to keep up with EVERYONE'S lives and I FEEL like people just get too involved in facebook and don't even really care about their real lives and are so obsessed with everyone else's. I think people are more likely to write someone back on facebook than text someone back. Maybe they just don't want to talk to me and I should get the hint ... haha.
